2. Joachim ALVA (Manuel¹) was born in 1833 in Udipi, Karnataka, India and died on Feb 15, 1907 at age 74.

General Notes: Joachim Alva was one of the founding members of the Church of Our Lady of Dolours in Udipi.

Joachim married Paschalia Concessio VAS, daughter of Gregorio Domingo VAS and Rosa Maria SUARES. Paschalia was born in 1840 in Kallianpur, Udupi, Karnataka, India and died on Aug 9, 1902 at age 62.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 3    i. Pauline Sebastiana ALVA was born circa 1858 in Shirva, Udipi, Karnataka, India and died on Jun 17, 1932 about age 74.

+ 4    ii. Seraphina ALVA was born in 1860 and died on Apr 15, 1922 at age 62.

+ 5    iii. John Francis ALVA was born in 1862 and died in 1934 at age 72.

+ 6    iv. Francis Xavier ALVA was born circa 1864.

+ 7    v. Piedade Salvador ALVA was born on Dec 1, 1866 and died on Nov 7, 1942 at age 75.

+ 8    vi. Rosario Diego ALVA was born in 1867 and died on May 21, 1919 at age 52.
