3. Paul ALVARES (Balthazar¹) was born in 1805 in Bolar, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India.

Paul married Monica FARIAS, daughter of Francis Xavier FARIAS and Anna D'SOUZA. Monica was born on Nov 27, 1815.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 5    i. Antony ALVARES was born circa 1837.

   6    ii. Salvador ALVARES was born circa 1839.

   7    iii. Francis Jerome ALVARES .

Francis married Anna Maria FERNANDES, daughter of Salvadore FERNANDES and Paschalia TELLIS. Anna was born on Aug 9, 1854.

+ 8    iv. Simon ALVARES was born in 1851 and died in 1919 at age 68.

   9    v. Emmanuel ALVARES was born in 1854 and died in 1922 at age 68.

4. Mathew ALVARES (Balthazar¹) was born circa 1807.

Mathew married Natalia Magdalen FARIAS, daughter of Francis Xavier FARIAS and Anna D'SOUZA. Natalia was born in 1817.

Children from this marriage were:

   10    i. Emerciana ALVARES .

+ 11    ii. Francis ALVARES .

+ 12    iii. Regina ALVARES was born on Feb 27, 1837 and died on Jan 9, 1894 at age 56.
