General Notes: Nicholas Kaitano Vas was employed by the firm of Alex Brice and Co., cotton merchants in Tadri Bombay. He lived (and died) at Dabul, Bombay, in a house where the present church is built. He was one of the pioneers of the Mangalorean community in Bombay.

He is buried in the middle of the church, just below the sanctuary steps. : Source - H.A.M.L. Vasnaik whose middle initials are the same.
