1. Pascal COLACO was born in 1790 and died in 1860 at age 70.

General Notes: Pascal Colaco apparently came from Goa and settled in Taccode. He donated land to the "Holy Cross Church" of Hospet (which has a history of 200 years - the only church that was spared by Tippu Sultan in return for the favors received from the Jain King of Moodbidri as he had a special affinity for Hospet Catholics as they used to grow betel leaves and supply to the Paan chewing Hindu community. Pascal Colaco made a condition of land gift to Hospet church as follows: A mass has to be said whenever a Colaco dies - and this condition remains perpetual to this day.

Pascal married Sabina SERRAO. Sabina was born in 1795 and died in 1870 at age 75.

Children from this marriage were:

   2    i. Bernard COLACO .

+ 3    ii. Casimir COLACO was born circa 1816.

+ 4    iii. Pedro COLACO was born in 1825 and died on Jan 21, 1886 at age 61.

   5    iv. Manuel COLACO .

+ 6    v. Cajetan COLACO was born circa 1832.
