General Notes: A DNA comparison from descendants of the two Farias family trees proves that both trees originated from the same ancestor. However, no records are available to find this ancestor.

+ 5    ii. Dominic Domingo FARIAS was born circa 1800 and died on Apr 18, 1865 about age 65.

3. Francis Xavier FARIAS (________¹) was born circa 1776 and died on Mar 19, 1857 in Kodaibail, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India about age 81.

General Notes: Francis Xavier Farias is the earliest known member of the Farias (Ferris) family of Codialbail. Though the family is said to have originated in Hazar, the family was in Codialbail from the time baptismal recording began in 1810. Therefore the exact date of Francis Xavier Farias' birth is not known. In his death record at the Rosario Cathedral, the date of his death is recorded as 19th March, 1857 at the age of 80 years. Using this, he was probably born in 1776.

+ 10    v. Natalia Magdalen FARIAS was born in 1817.

+ 11    vi. Maria Sabina FARIAS was born on Nov 27, 1819.

   12    vii. Elena FARIAS was born on Apr 1, 1825.

Elena married Manuel SOUZA, son of Cajetan SOUZA. Manuel was born circa 1815.

+ 13    viii. Philip FARIAS was born on Jul 4, 1828 and died on Oct 30, 1858 at age 30.
