45. Martha Ignatia FERNANDES (Nicholas Manuel7, Salvadore2, Alexis1) was born on Feb 7, 1888 in Kankanadi, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India and died on Dec 10, 1939 at age 51.
General Notes: After Cecelia was born, the mid-wife did not check Martha properly. Martha complained of stomach pains and when she was opened up 3 days later a lifeless twin baby was found. We do not know the sex of this baby. Matha never regained complete health and after ththe birth of her youngest son Denis was paralysed for 12 years until her death

Martha married Boniface Casimir FERNANDES, son of Peter FERNANDES and Qittera MENEZES, on Dec 27, 1914 in Milagres Church, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. Boniface was born circa 1875 in Kalmady Malpe and died on May 1, 1947 in Udipi, Karnataka, India about age 72.

46. Andrew Alexander FERNANDES (Nicholas Manuel7, Salvadore2, Alexis1) was born on Dec 28, 1890 and died on Aug 12, 1959 at age 68.
General Notes: Alexander worked for the government in Tanzania, Treasury Department. He lived there with his wife and all 11 children were born there. After retirment, he settled in Kankanady, Mangalore.

General Notes: Charles was a graduate (BA). he joined the Indian Navy and retired as Lt. Commander. He then joined the priesthood and was ordained in Rome by Pope Paul VI in january 1966. he built a chapel in Kalmady, Malpe that became a parish.
+ 93 iii. Clotilde D'SOUZA was born in 1922, died on Jan 23, 2014 in Kalmady Malpe at age 92, and was buried on Jan 25, 2014 in Kalmady Malpe.
