Diego married Louisa D'SOUZA. Louisa was born about 1780.

+ 31    ii. Joachim Joseph FERNANDES was born about 1807 and died on Jul 25, 1849 about age 42.

+ 32    iii. Joseph FERNANDES was born circa 1813 and died in 1863 about age 50.

+ 33    iv. Balthazar Francis FERNANDES was born circa 1818.

15. Nicholas Manuel FERNANDES (Boniface Lawrence⁹, Diego⁶, Angelo Antonio Nicholas¹) was born in 1772 and died in 1817 at age 45.

Nicholas married Isabella MENEZES, daughter of Antony MENEZES. Isabella was born in 1780 in Puttur, Karnataka, India.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 34    i. Deputy Collector Boniface FERNANDES was born circa 1803 and died in 1861 about age 58.

   35    ii. Fr. Lawrence FERNANDES was born circa 1805.

+ 36    iii. Catherine FERNANDES was born in 1808 and died circa 1880 about age 72.

+ 37    iv. Salvador FERNANDES was born circa 1811 and died in 1854 about age 43.

17. Domingo FERNANDES (Boniface Lawrence⁹, Diego⁶, Angelo Antonio Nicholas¹).

Domingo married Isabella BARBOZA, daughter of Daniel BARBOZA.

+ 39    i. Joanna FERNANDES .

18. Tashildar Antony FERNANDES (Boniface Lawrence⁹, Diego⁶, Angelo Antonio Nicholas¹) was born circa 1793 and died in 1869 in Kundapur, Udupi, Karnataka, India about age 76.

General Notes: Antony Fernandes worked as a private trader, then in the Customs Office and was eventually promoted to the position of Tashildar. He married thrice. He had one child by his first marriage and two by his second. Regina who was his third wife had 12 children.

Antony married Natalia REBELLO, daughter of Francis REBELLO and Barbara BARBOZA. Natalia was born circa 1805.

Antony next married Nathalia SEQUEIRA, daughter of Minguel SEQUEIRA. Nathalia was born circa 1807.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 40    i. Anna Maria FERNANDES was born circa 1820.

+ 41    ii. Barbara FERNANDES was born in 1823.

   42    iii. Manuel FERNANDES .

General Notes: Manuel died at the age of 3 years.

Antony next married Regina MONTEIRO, daughter of Joseph MONTEIRO and Magdalen COELHO. Regina was born in 1808.

+ 43    i. Emiliana FERNANDES was born in 1828.

+ 44    ii. Sabina FERNANDES .

+ 45    iii. Ignatia FERNANDES .

+ 46    iv. John Manual FERNANDES was born circa 1835 and died in 1914 about age 79.

+ 47    v. Lawrence Marcel FERNANDES was born in 1843 and died in 1916 at age 73.

+ 48    vi. Monica FERNANDES was born in 1845.

28. Angela MATHIAS (Regina FERNANDES¹³, Diego⁶, Angelo Antonio Nicholas¹)

Angela married Emmanuel D'SOUZA.

The child from this marriage was:

   49    i. Sabina D'SOUZA

Sabina married John Emmanuel BRITTO, son of Pascal BRITO and Sabina COELHO. John was born in 1803 and died in 1858 at age 55.
