This November 22th 1756, after 3 publications (of Banns), the November 7th, 14th and 21st 1756, Pierre Lopes (nickname: Saint Pierre), soldier of the garrison, the son of Antoine Lopes and Louise Feraire, native of Bragues in Portugal, belonging to the Diocese of Viseu, and Elizabeth Fernandes from Mangalore, widow of Bonaventure Rodrigues, daughter of Antoine Fernandes and Anne Lellein from Mangalore were married in the presence of Joseph Fernandes from Villaria, and François Fernandes from Mahé who declared in favor. Signed by Fr. Eusebe of the Carmelite Missionaries.
