General Notes: Rita enterered the Cloistered Camelites, Mangalore as Sr. Mary of the Incarnation in 1886 after her husband died. Her youngest daughter Cecilia (Sr. Ange Marla) joined the same convent on July 7, 1887.
Rita married Justice Lazarus Salvador ROSARIO, son of Jailor David Emmanuel ROSARIO. Lazarus was born in 1814 and died in 1875 at age 61.

31 v. Eugenia Angela ROSARIO was born in 1851 and died on Mar 21, 1877 in Atni, Belgaum, Karnataka, India at age 26.
Eugenia married Joseph Juvenitas FERNANDEZ, son of Munsiff Ignatius Francis FERNANDEZ and Maria SEQUEIRA, on Mar 29, 1869 in Rosario Cathedral, Mangalore. Joseph was born on Mar 10, 1846.
32 vi. Mother Aloysia, A.C. was born in 1855 and died in 1939 at age 84. Another name for Aloysia is Maria Piedade ROSARIO.
General Notes: Mother Aloysia joined the Apostolic Carmel in 1873 and for 36 years (1873-1909) she was the Headmistress of St. Ann's Academy and one of the founders of St. Ann's Teacher's Training School in 1890. She was appointed Superior General of the Carmelite Tertiaries in 1909 and held this position for 18 years. In 1921 she founded St. Agnes College in Mangalore and in 1929 she was awarded the kaiser-I-Hind gold medal in recognition of her devotion to the cause of female education.
33 vii. Sr. Stephanie, AC was born in 1857 and died in 1925 at age 68. Another name for Stephanie is Anne Ignatia ROSARIO.
General Notes: Anne Ignatia Rosario joined the Apostolic Carmel order and as Sr. Stephanie, AC she was the Headmistress of St. Joseph's Convent, Calicut.
34 viii. Sr. Polycarp, AC was born on Feb 28, 1860 and died on Jun 3, 1937 in St. Agnes Convent, Mangalore at age 77. Another name for Polycarp is Lucy ROSARIO.
35 ix. Fr. Peter Celestine ROSARIO, SJ was born in 1861 and died on Oct 12, 1933 at age 72.
General Notes: Peter Celestine Rosario was a qualified lawyer who gave up a lucrative career and joined the newly formed Jesuits in Mangalore in 1880. He was secretary to Bishop Pagani and his successor Bishop Cavadini. He was Professor of Logic at St. Aloysius College and is credited with the passing of the Indian Christians Estate Administration Act of 1901.
36 x. Fr. Basil Paulinus ROSARIO, SJ was born in 1863 and died in 1944 at age 81.
General Notes: Rev. Fr. Basil Rosario taught English and Religion at St. Aloysius College. He is rememberd for his writings on Religion, morals and Etiquette. He is the author of several books:
- The Avatars of Krishna and the message of Ramakrishna
- Saviour of the World (The life of Christ written for Muslims and Hindus)
- The Making of a Gentleman
- Jesu Che Kurov (in Konkani)
